PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 5, 2009) -- A MK-46 recoverable exercise torpedo
(REXTORP) is ejected from a torpedo tube aboard the Arleigh Burke-class
guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) during a REXTORP exercise.
Mustin is one of seven Arleigh Burke-class destroyers assigned to
Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15 and operates from Yokosuka, Japan. (U.S.

ReckardPACIFIC OCEAN (July 9, 2009) -- The five-inch gun aboard the
Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) is
fired during a pre-aim calibration fire (PACFIRE) in the Pacific Ocean.
Mustin is participating in Talisman Saber 2009, a biennial, combined
training activity designed to train Australian and U.S. forces in
