Naval Station Norfolk, Va. (Oct 23, 2003) -- The recently commissioned guided missile destroyer USS Chafee (DDG 90) is moored pier-side at Naval Station Norfolk. Chafee is named after the late Senator John H. Chafee, former Secretary of the Navy and decorated veteran of the Marine Corp.
