PACIFIC OCEAN (July 5, 2009) -- MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopters assigned to
the Raptors from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 71 and
MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopters assigned to the Eightballers from
Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8 prepare to launch from the
aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) for their fly off to San
Diego, Calif. John C. Stennis is en route to San Diego, to offload the
rest of Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 9 before returning to homeport in
Bremerton, Wash. John C. Stennis and the CVW-9 are returning from a
scheduled six-month deployment to the western Pacific Ocean. U.S.
