Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Apr. 13, 2003) -- The fast-attack submarine USS Honolulu (SSN 718) spent an eight-month deployment with Seventh Fleet Forces and in the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
