Mayport, Fla. (Dec. 8, 2006) -- The guided missile cruiser USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) pulls into its homeport after a regularly scheduled six-month deployment. During the deployment, Philippine Sea sailed to the Persian Gulf in direct support of the global war terrorism. On arrival, the ship assumed flagship duties for Coalition Task Force 158 providing Maritime Security for the entire region.
