Souda Bay, Crete, Greece (Jan. 15, 2007) -- Sailors "man the rails" as the guided missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61) arrives for a port call on Greece's largest island. The Ticonderoga-class cruiser departed her homeport of Norfolk, VA in October 2006 and is currently assigned to Standing NATO Maritime Group TWO (SNMG2).  SNMG2 consists of vessels from various allied nations and is currently being reconstituted while inport Souda Bay.  U.S. Navy photo by Mr. Paul Farley (RELEASED)
