PACIFIC OCEAN (June 18, 2010) -- The visit, board, search and seizure
(VBSS) team assigned to the guided-missile cruiser USS Chosin (CG 65)
makes its way to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force guided-missile
destroyer JS Atago (DDG 117) for a simulated VBSS exercise. Atago and
Chosin are en route to the Hawaiian operating area for Rim of the
Pacific (RIMPAC) 2010. RIMPAC is a biennial, multi-national exercise
designed to strengthen regional partnerships and improve multi-national
