Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (July 02, 2004) -- The golden anchor is proudly displayed by the guided missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70) and reflects the ship's high retention rate. Lake Erie is currently participating in the multi-national maritime exercise Rim of the Pacific 2004 (RIMPAC).  RIMPAC is an international exercise that enhances joint cooperation and proficiency of maritime and air forces of participating Pacific Rim nations.
