Gulf of Aden (Feb. 21, 2004) -- The guided missile cruiser USS Vella Gulf (CG 72) pulls along side of USS George Washington (CVN 73) to transfer passengers using a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) while operating in the Gulf of Aden. Vella Gulf is part of the Norfolk, Va.
