ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 6, 2008) -- The guided-missile cruiser USS Vella Gulf, left, (CG 72) and the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) transit the Atlantic Ocean.
