Mayport, Fla. (Oct. 4, 2006) -- Sailors man the rails aboard the guided-missile frigate USS John L. Hall (FFG 32) as she pulls into her homeport after completing a six-month deployment. During the deployment, Hall conducted two interdictions resulting in the seizure of over six metric tons of contraband. Hall also completed the first Airborne Use of Force from a Navy helicopter while interdicting a stateless go fast vessel resulting in the seizure of about 1.5 metric tons of contraband. Hall also completed the first-ever joint boarding at sea with the Ecuadorian Navy and enhanced regional cooperation in support of maritime security.
