Off the coast of Chile (Jul. 3, 2002) -- The guided missile frigate USS Klakring (FFG 42) leaves the port city of Coquimbo, Chile, to participate  in the Pacific Phase of UNITAS.  UNITAS (Latin for "unity") involves warships from six countries participating in ten days of intense wargames designed to build multinational coalitions while promoting hemispheric defense and mutual cooperation.  U.S. Navy photo by Lieutenant Corey Barker.  (RELEASED)
