Norfolk, Va. (Aug. 25, 2005) -- The crew of the guided missile frigate USS Nicholas (FFG 47) man the rails as the ship prepares to moor at Naval Station Norfolk. Nicholas along with USS Saipan (LHA 2) and USS Nashville (LPD 13) returned to Naval Station Norfolk after completing a three-month surge deployment in support of the global war on terror.
