MAYPORT, Fla. (March 9, 2007) -- More than 200 Sailors on board guided missile frigate USS Taylor (FFG 50), including embarked Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light (HSL) 44, return to their homeport of Naval Station Mayport after a successful deployment. During the deployment, Taylor served as Scene of Action Commander in the Northern Arabian Gulf and assumed a central role in the security of Iraqi oil platforms, which help to stabilize the Iraqi economy.
