South China Sea (August 1, 2005)  -- A landing craft air cushion (LCAC) passes by the guided missile frigate USS Rodney M. Davis (FFG 60). Davis is transiting to Brunei for the 5th phase of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2005. CARAT is an annual series of bilateral military training exercises with several Southeast Asian nations designed to enhance interoperability of the respective sea services.
