The Arabian Gulf (Apr. 7, 2003) -- USS Tarawa (LHA 1) receives fuel during an underway replenishment with the Military Sealift Command (MSC) oiler USNS Yukon (T-AO 202).  Tarawa and embarked Marines are deployed providing air support for the 15th MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit), Special Operations Capable, conducting combat missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.  U.S.  Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 2nd Class Larry S.
