Naval Station Norfolk, Va. (May 29, 2003) -- The amphibious assault ship USS Nassau (LHA 4) returns to its homeport of Naval Station Norfolk.  USS Nassua (LHA 4) was on deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.  Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 3rd Class Leah E.
