ANDAMAN SEA (May 22, 2008) -- The stern gate of the amphibious assault
ship USS Essex (LHD 2) sits open as the ship conducts landing craft,
utility (LCU) operations with the guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin
(DDG 89). The Essex Amphibious Ready Group is standing by in
international waters off the coast of Burma supporting Joint Task Force
Caring Response, a humanitarian assistance operation developed in the
