Pacific Ocean (Nov. 4, 2006) -- With a MH-60S Seahawk assigned to the
Island Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Two Five (HSC-25)
flying as a channel guard, USS Essex (LHD 2) passes the Capul Island
Lighthouse as it transits through the San Bernardino Straits after
completing a port visit to Subic Bay, Philippines. Essex and 31st MEU
were in the Philippines to participate in bilateral exercises, Exercise
Talon Vision and Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX 07), with the
