Atlantic Ocean (Aug. 15, 2006) -- A Landing Craft Utility (LCU) makes its way into the well deck aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) to offload equipment and supplies. Kearsarge is participating in the multi-national exercise PANAMAX 2006. PANAMAX is a joint training exercise lead by the United States and involves personnel, aircraft and ships from Central and South American countries as well as Caribbean nations.
