WILLEMSTAD, Netherlands Antilles(Oct. 21, 2008) -- The amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) visits the Netherlands Antilles for the humanitarian service project, Continuing Promise 08 (CP). Kearsarge is supporting the Caribbean phase of CP, an equal-partnership mission between the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, Nicaragua, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
