Pacific Ocean (Aug. 2, 2004) -- Sailors assigned to the amphibious
assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), ease the Captain's Gig into the water
below. This Gig is a diesel powered motorboat which provides
ship-to-shore and ship-to-ship transportation for the ship's captain
and his official guests. Boxer recently returned from the central
command area of responsibility where they helped off-load personnel and
equipment supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) U.S. Navy photo by
