At sea aboard USS Bataan (LHD 5) Jan. 26, 2002 -- Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Michael Gladney from St. Louis, MO, directs a Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) hovercraft from Assault Craft Unit Four (ACU-4) into the ship's well deck.  The LCAC 's are returning U.S. Marines and equipment from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) back to ships assigned to Bataan's Amphibious Ready Group (ARG).  Bataan and 26th MEU (SOC) are conducting missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  U.S. Navy photo by Chief Photographer's Mate Johnny Bivera.  (RELEASED)
