USS Bataan (LHD 5) Sept. 18, 2003 -- USS Bataan (LHD 5) is  underway off the coast of Virginia.  A portion of the Second Fleet/Striking Fleet staff embarked Bataan Tuesday, to avoid Hurricane Isabel.
