Norfolk, Va. (July 3, 2007) -- The amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) pulls into port at Naval Station Norfolk after a six-month deployment as part of the Bataan Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG). While deployed, the ESG supported Maritime Security Operations (MSO) and Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operation.
