ARABIAN SEA (April 21, 2007) -- Marines attached to the 26th Marine
Expeditionary Unit (MEU) based out of Camp Lejeune, N.C., board a
landing craft utility (LCU) assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 2
during an offload of troops and equipment from USS Bataan (LHD 5).
Bataan left her homeport of Norfolk, Va., on a scheduled deployment as
the flagship of the Bataan Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG). U.S. Navy
