MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (Jan. 15, 2010) -- Marines assigned to the 22nd
Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU) embark aboard the multi-purpose
amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) during preparations by the
Bataan Amphibious Relief Mission for a disaster response effort to the
nation of Haiti. Bataan departed Naval Station Norfolk to provide
humanitarian assistance and disaster response in the aftermath of
Haiti's devastating earthquake on Jan. 12, 2010. U.S. Navy photo
