Indian Ocean (Jan. 8, 2005) -- The amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) underway off the coast of the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. Helicopters from Bonhomme Richard and Sailors and Marines assigned to Expeditionary Strike Group Five (ESG-5) are supporting Operation Unified Assistance, the humanitarian operation effort in the wake of the Tsunami that struck South East Asia.
