Souda Bay, Crete, Greece (Apr. 30, 2003) -- USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) is assisted by tugs as she arrives for a port visit at the port of Souda Bay.  Iwo Jima is the Navy's newest Wasp Class Amphibious Assault Ship, is homported in Norfolk, Virginia and is currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.  U.S. Navy photo by Paul Farley.  (RELEASED)
