Suez Canal (Nov. 8, 2006) -- The amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) prepares to pass under the Mubarak Peace Bridge while transiting through the Suez Canal. The Iwo Jima Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) successfully transited the Suez Canal, concluding operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
