Sasebo, Japan (Nov. 25, 2006) -- With Sailors manning the rails,
amphibious transport dock USS Juneau (LPD 10) pulls into her
forward-deployed home of Sasebo, Japan at the completion of the ship's
fall patrol. Juneau joined with amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD
2) and dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), comprising the
Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ESXARG), for bilateral exercises in the
Philippines. Juneau also participated in an exercise with the People's
Republic of China before returning home after eight weeks at sea. U.S.
