MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 14, 2008) -- The amphibious transport dock USS Nashville (LPD 13) deploys a landing craft utility (LCU) to perform an ammunition onload with the guided missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71). Nashville is on a scheduled deployment as a part of the Nassau Strike Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. Navy's 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
