the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall
(LSD 44), watches from a rigid-hull inflatable boat as Sailors
participate in a swim call. Gunston Hall is deployed as part of Africa
Partnership Station West, an international initiative developed by U.S.
Naval Forces Europe and U.S. Naval Forces Africa, which works
cooperatively with U.S. and international partners to improve maritime
