Persian Gulf (July 4, 2004) -- Hull Technician 3rd class James Cameron assigned to Assault Craft Unit Four (ACU-4) stands safety observer while his Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) gets a fresh-water wash down after conducting operations with the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48). Ashland is assisting in Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the Persian Gulf. MSO sets the condition for security and stability in the maritime environment.
