Persian Gulf (Dec. 24, 2004) -- USS Dextrous (MCM 13) and the dock
landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD-49) conducts replenishment at sea
in the Persian Gulf. Harpers Ferry is the Afloat Forward Staging Base
(AFSB) to nearby Oil Platforms and support ships, providing security
and logistics support. USS Essex Expeditionary Strike Group, operating
in the Northern Persian Gulf with other multi-national forces in
