performs a stern gate marriage with the dock landing ship USS Harpers
Ferry (LSD 49) during the offload of personnel and equipment of the
31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) in White Beach Naval Facility,
Okinawa, Japan. Commander, Task Force Seven Six (CTF-76) ships, units
and embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) elements are
returning from operations supporting Reception, Staging, Onward
Movement and Integration (RSIO) Foal Eagle (FE) 2006, designed to
strengthen interoperability between the United States and the Republic
