landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) perform an anchor drop test
while inspectors examine the durability and performance of the anchor
chain. The Navy's Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) is a mandated
and rigorous material readiness inspection that is scheduled every five
years to ensure a ship's overall operational readiness for deployment.
