SOUTH CHINA SEA (June 12, 2009) -- A BQM-74E target drone is launched
from the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers
Ferry (LSD 49) during a missile and air gunnery exercise involving the
U.S and Republic of Singapore navies as part of Cooperation Afloat
Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2009. CARAT is a series of bilateral
exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships
and enhance the operational readiness of the participating
