SASEBO, Japan (Sept. 23, 2009) -- The Navy's forward-deployed amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) pulls out from Sasebo. USS Harpers Ferry is participating in the Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) with the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
