Norfolk, Va. (Jan. 24, 2006) -- A tugboat assist the dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) away from the pier at Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, as the ship departs on a "surge" deployment. Oak Hill will join the guided-missile cruiser Vicksburg (CG 69) and guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) on a three-month deployment in support conduct maritime security operations in support of the global war on terrorism.
