Norfolk, VA.- Family members welcome home the Sailors of  the amphibious dock landing ship  USS Oak Hill (LSD 51).  USS Oak Hill  returned to  Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Va. after a three month deployment as part of Winter Surge 06 in support of the Global War on Terrorism.  USS Oak Hill conducted maritime security operations and worked with allies to build regional security and long-term stability.  The guided-missile cruiser USS Vicksburg (CG 69) and the guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80), also part of Winter Surge, returned to their homeport in Mayport, Fla., last week.
