Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Jan. 15, 2005) -- The High Speed Vessel Two (HSV-2) Swift is moored alongside the guided missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for a brief port visit before deploying to support Operation Unified Assistance, the humanitarian operation effort in the wake of the Tsunami that struck South East Asia. Swift is home ported at Naval Station Ingleside, Texas and responded on short notice to meet the needs of the humanitarian and disaster relief efforts.
