Singapore (Jan. 30, 2005) -- High Speed Vessel Two (HSV 2) Swift lowers its ramp onto the pier in Singapore. HSV 2 Swift is carrying humanitarian aid supplies, including medicine for Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19). Mercy has been forward deployed in support of Operation Unified Assistance, the humanitarian operation effort in the wake of the tsunami that struck South East Asia.
