Gulf of Mexico (Sep. 1, 2005) -- An MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, assigned to Helicopter Sea Control Squadron Two Eight (HSC-28), prepares to pick up pallets of supplies from The U.S. Navy High Speed Vessel (HSV-2) Swift during a vertical replenishment. HSC-28 is currently embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5). The Navy's involvement in the humanitarian assistance operations is led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
