Camp Patriot, Kuwait (Feb. 28, 2003) -- The Navy's Joint Venture (HSV-X1), a high-speed, sealift catamaran built and designed by Australian shipbuilders, sits pier-side. The vessel design was coordinated by the Navy Warfare Development Command in close partnership with elements of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.  Operation Enduring Freedom is the first time the craft has been deployed for military operations.  U.S. Navy photo by Journalist 1st Class Joseph Krypel.  (RELEASED)
