Central Command Area of Responsibility (Jan. 15, 2003) -- United States Army Vessel (USAV) Theatre Support Vessel (TSV-1X) Spearhead departs from a port within the Central Command AOR. The 98-meter Spearhead with an average speed of 40+ knots will be utilized on missions to maximize its speed and flexibility to transport troops and cargo.
