PACIFIC OCEAN (June 7, 2007) -- Small boat crew members assigned to the
amphibious Command ship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), take midshipman on a
training and familiarization ride while Blue Ridge conducts small boat
operations. The midshipmen are spending their summer cruise aboard the
Blue Ridge to learn what it is like to live and work on a U.S. Navy
ship. Blue Ridge, the U.S. 7th Fleet command ship is permanently
