Arabian Gulf (Jun. 14, 2004) -- The Avenger-class mine countermeasure
ship USS Dextrous (MCM 13) is underway while providing training
opportunities for U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen. Midshipmen
are
participating in annual summer training cruises throughout the world,
offering sophomore and junior-year USNA students to complete two-week
periods of instruction in basic surface warfare operations. The
Ingleside, Texas-based Dextrous is on a regularly scheduled deployment
