An AH-1W Super Cobra is guided onto the flight deck of USS Bonhomme Richard, Oct. 2.  Pilots and crew from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 165 (rein), the Aviation Combat Element of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, will use some of their time during Compatibility Training Underway Exercise, Oct. 1-17, to gain proficiency in deck landings and take-offs.  COMPTUEX marks the first at-sea period Marines and Sailors of the 13th MEU and Amphibious Squadron Three conduct exercises from ship to shore.
