WASHINGTON (July 19, 2007) -- A V-22 Osprey, from Marine Tiltrotor
Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron (VMX) 22, hovers before
landing at the Pentagon to pick up a group of military and civilian
officials. The aircraft flew the group to British Royal Navy aircraft
carrier HMS Illustrious (R 06), operating in the Atlantic Ocean, to
observe Marine AV-8B Harriers participating in a joint exercise from
